We now have 2 LocalKidzStuff.com site in the Chicago area!  Today (1/13/2010), we launched the second site: Chicago-NearNorthShore.  This new site joins our existing site for Evanston/Skokie, that was launched in December of 2009.

We are currently concentrating on the North Shore of Chicago and will have sites for Highland Park, Glenview/Northbrook, and Des Plaines coming soon.  Then we will head to South Chicago.

We're getting noticed!

I am switching from cable TV to DirecTV and the installation guys came out to set me up.  One of them saw the LocalKidzStuff.com decals on one of my cars and said, "Hey, I've been to your site!  It's great!"  He went on to explain that he was looking for fun stuff to do with his 3 kids, did a Google search where LocalKidzStuff.com and Nickelodeon's Go City Kids sites came up top.  He went to GoCityKids and found it confusing and didn't like it at all. He then went to LocalKidzStuff.com and thought it was great and bookmarked the site!  Cool.

Our LocalKidzStuff.com was recently reviewed on a startup-focused website called SlapStart.com.

The review had some great things to say about our site and some wonderful suggestions, which went right into the TODO list.
