Circle 7 Software - Product: ProbationComm

ProbationComm is a web-based service that enables individuals on probation (probationers) to more easily communicate with their supervising probation officer and to fulfill their probation requirements.
Using ProbationComm is much faster and easier than filling out reports by hand, writing checks, mailing them in, and calling your officer.

Probation: The Problem
At the start of 2004, there were 4.8 million adults on probation or parole in the United States, which constitutes 70% of all persons under correctional supervision.
With overcrowding in our prisons, as well as continuous cuts to state and federal budgets, probation departments are increasingly being overwhelmed with ever-increasing case loads and high officer turnover rates.
Often the recidivism rates ( persons re-offending ) are increasing because Probation Departments do not have the time to spend on rehabilitating their probationers.
Probation: The Solution
ProbationComm™, is our solution for Adult Probation.
REPORT · PAY · COMMUNICATE™
ProbationComm™ is the first software of its kind designed to automate and streamline the way Offenders and Officers interact with each other and the system.
This is achieved by:
- enabling probation officers and administrators to communicate quickly and effectively with their lower level probationers
- automating the reporting process by replacing the paper form with a web form that stores the report data into the ProbationComm database, which can then populate your existing Probation Management database
- accepting offender payments securely online
A probation officer can spend more time working on their higher security cases and continue to have control over their lower level clients. This easier mechanism for making payments will bring more money into the County and the State by ensuring that an offender fulfills all of his requirements.
By allowing officers the ability to automate they will be able handle a larger volume of case loads and stay on top of probationer’s reports and payments. Officers will discover extra time in their day to devote to higher-priority cases.
