Circle 7 Software, Inc. is a Houston, Texas-based company dedicated to developing a range of SaaS application products for the consumer and enterprise business market. We like to look at problems in our very own lives and find solutions for them. If we are having trouble with a particular aspect of our lives, then other people probably are, too. As an example, Local Kidz Stuff was born from the problems our Founder, Colin Mason, had in finding local attractions and family events near his home in North Houston for his 3 year old daughter. Frustration at the lack of a central Internet resource for this need drove him to develop LocalKidzStuff.com.
All our applications are based on this type of grassroots need. We solve problems that pain us, so we have a vested interest in doing the best work possible.
Colin Mason President/CEO/Founder
Colin is President/CEO of Circle 7 Software, Inc. In 2001, he founded a web application development company called Level 7 Solutions, LLC, that catered to small businesses. There, he honed his skills at building relationships, networking and community involvement and built Level 7 into a successful small business.
In 2006, together with LJ Skibbe, he founded Circle 7 Software, after learning about the problems in Adult Probation from Steve Swan, Director of Liberty County (TX) Adult Supervision. ProbationComm was developed as Circle 7's first product to market and addressed some of the problems of today's probation management.
Most days he finds himself hunkered down behind his desktop, laptop, or some other electronic medium, creating and fine-tuning software and brainstorming the next great product from Circle 7. Colin is well versed in C#, Visual Basic.NET, SQL Databases, HTML coding and other web technologies and is an early adopter of Microsoft's .NET Framework and surrounding technologies.
